This is a sit-down, full-service restaurant. At lunch there is a regular menu as opposed to the family style, all you can eat dinner. We've been to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner and it was just "ok" for us. Although many people love it, we didn't love it. We didn't have the best experience last time we went for dinner. We were a party of 2 and waited a while even with a priority seating and it was getting late. My daughter was really hungry and when they sat us in the corner by the kitchen I was less than thrilled. We were by the silverware storage area and at the time they had characters who seemed to miss us:-( Anyway, my point?? Well, it took us a while to go back and then when I heard lots of good things about lunch, we had to give it a try. Lunch is by far a much better experience for us. So much so, that I have found one of my favorite salads in all of Walt Disney World! On this particular day we had a 1:55 reservation and sat around 2:15. Kathy was our server. She was very nice and friendly. We knew what we wanted and when I told her the Colony Salad she told me that it was a good choice, that I wouldn't be disappointed. My daughter just wanted her favorite Meaty Macaroni. The food arrived in a very timely fashion, I was very impressed. My daughter was very pleased with her meat mac choice. She also got salad and veggies for her sides which seemed very fresh. And since we behaved for lunch we treated ourselves to their yummy brownie and ice cream fro dessert. It was really good, definitely enjoyed it!
I would highly recommend a visit to Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. The atmosphere is fun. You feel like you're in a historical house from the 1700's. It is a nice laid back place to dine for lunch to escape from the chaos of the park. And the food is quite good:-) Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch MenuKids Menu
